As reported by TIME, species in the IUCN list are all located close to the verge of extinction, because the population of each species is diminishing quickly making an effort to preserve these animals is urgent and requires the attention of us all.
In 100 list of endangered animals are 5 species were at the end of extinction, some of which have a population of less than 100 individuals.
Here is a list of 5 of the most endangered species extinct.
1 rhino java
Population: <100 individualsJavan rhino previously found throughout Southeast Asia, but these animals are now on the verge of extinction with only a small population remaining in the Park is home to Indonesia after the animal population in Vietnam is extinct. 2 bamboo lemur

Bamboo Lemur gets its name because of their strong jaws and can chew hard bamboo plants can be found in Madagascar, an island in Africa which is home to species more endangered than any other country in the world. Bamboo lemur is actually believed to have been extinct for nearly 50 years before it was rediscovered in 1972. However, their extinction would probably be real because their rainforest habitat is being cut down and burned for agriculture by humans.
3. Liben Lark
Population: 90-256 tail
Liben Lark bird found only in the southern highlands of Ethiopia, and may be the first bird species in Africa. The population fell by 40% between 2007 and 2009, and were primarily due to habitat loss caused by agricultural expansion, this species probably will not last long.
4. Red River Giant Softshell Turtle
Population: 4 headsGiant tortoises with soft shell can weigh nearly 300 pounds, with a 40-inch shell. Found in Vietnam and China, according to local tales, turtles in Hoan Kiem Lake is said to be the golden turtle god, also known as Kim Qui. However, due to hunting and habitat destruction, the turtle is almost extinct from the wild. Where now only four individuals left in the world, and all are at the zoo.
5. Seychelles Sheath-tailed Bat
Population: <100 were adultsThe bat gets its name from the thin membrane that runs on its hind legs, allowing it to perform an amazing stunt action. But this apparently did not prevent bats from invasive species and habitat destruction. The species is now extinct on several islands in the Seychelles, a small country in the Indian Ocean, and without immediate action, this bat will perish.
